Booking
and Cancellation Policy:
A deposit (minimum 50% of invoice total)
or payment in full, is required to secure all bookings.
Payment in full will be required prior to, or on, arrival.
Cancellations - more than 90 days in advance - 100% refund
less $100 admin fee
Cancellations - less than 90 days from booking - no refund
of deposits or payments received.
Deposits are payments to secure the dates you have requested
and cannot transferred to different dates or
used as payment for fewer nights than you booked, therefore
changes to bookings (i.e. change of dates,
or shortened stays) are not accepted for any reason.

While I am personally sympathetic to many
of the reasons people wish to change, shorten or cancel
their bookings (sometimes at very short notice) I must
ask that you also consider my position and not ask for
refunds of deposits/advance payments or ask to use deposit/advance
payments for a later or changed booking.
The function of deposits/advance payments
is to be sure of securing the unit you want on the dates
you require, refunds and changes totally defeat their
purpose. For a small property, such as Coghill Cottages,
cancellations and changes are very costly and difficult.
Once dates are confirmed I turn away other bookings for
the same dates. Once dates become fully booked that information
is circulated and may be displayed on the web site, which
mean enquires for those dates are no longer received.
Before confirming a booking please be
aware that the cancellation policy will be strictly adhered
to.
